All activities are dependent on the weather and a host of other variables.  The safety of the guests and the well-being of the vessel are paramount as we customize our itinerary to the conditions of the day. We have a bank of activities to keep us active and comfortable in almost any condition.

Our yacht awaits in the picturesque harbor of Salerno, just east of the ancient city of Amalfi. The proximity of the coastal towns along the Amalfi Coast and the islands dotting the Bay of Naples allows us to explore both destinations.

The Amalfi Coast boasts 13 spectacular villages affectionately called “The Pearls of the Amalfi.” These villages stretch from Vietre sul Mare, just west of Salerno, to the ever popular Positano.  The lovely islands of the Bay of Naples include Capri, Procida, and Ischia.

We can dock for our first evening beneath the domed cathedrals and Baroque architecture of Amalfi and explore the medieval pathways and garden-filled villas of Ravello, an enchanting hilltop town perched above the town of Amalfi.

We’ll weigh anchor the next morning and head west toward the end of the Sorrentine Peninsula and Positano, perhaps stopping along the way for a swim in the beautiful Conca dei Marini or to explore the narrow streets of Priano.

From the photogenic town of Positano, we can make our way up the mountain to Bomerano for a spectacular hike along the Sentiero degli Dei trail which links Positano to other towns along the coast.  Or we can just stroll around the steep streets of the colorful town enjoying the wisteria-draped cafes, hotels, and boutiques.

The Bay of Naples and famed island of Capri is a short sail from the Almafi Coast. The emerald waters of Capri are perfect for a dip in the sea followed by a walk to Piazza Umberto or a tour of the Blue Grotto.

We’ll sail past the Faraglioni di Capri, three jagged peaks rising out of the turquoise sea. The best way to see the Faraglioni (which means stacks in Italian) is from the sea.  You will see the same sights the ancient Romans saw from their villas overlooking the sea.

We can sail to the bustling city of Sorrento where we can enjoy ample shopping opportunities and authentic Italian pizza or we can immerse ourselves in Italy’s rich maritime culture and cuisine on the islands of Procida, Ischia, and other famed Mediterranean destinations.

In addition to the Italian cultural and historic attractions, we’ll find a quiet bay where we can snorkel among the schools of fish upon which countless generations of Italian fishermen have fed their villages. We’ll see Mount Vesuvius as we cross the Gulf of Naples. After our longer passages, we can enjoy fine wines and the famed Italian Limoncello for happy hour as the sun set over the Mediterranean.

While dining in intimate bistros are indulgences not to be missed, Pirate Jean will be on board to prepare magnificent feasts while we are at sea. Come along to experience best of Italina maritime culture through ancient ruins, towering landscapes, decadent cuisine via the comfort and joy of a fine sailing yacht.
