Terms and Conditions

 Reservations and Payments:

50% of the trip cost is due at the time of reservation.  The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. If the reservation is made 90 days or less prior to departure, full payment is due at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Refunds:

To get the perfect yacht for your charter experience, Blue Moon Adventures, LLC reserves the sailboat as soon as your reservation is made, usually many months in advance.  Funds are immediately forwarded to secure the boat for the dates proposed. We regret that refunds will not be possible if you must cancel your trip. Cancellations must be in writing to Blue Moon Adventures, LLC. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies.  We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance (see link below).

We strongly recommend that you purchase a travel insurance policy to cover trip cancellations and interruptions, medical, emergency medical evacuation, loss of baggage or personal effects, and other coverage. Call Insure My Trip at 800-487-4722 or visit their website www.insuremytrip.com to select a trip insurance plan that best meets your needs. Note most of these policies need to be purchased within 7 days of your first payment towards the trip.

Liability Release:

 We make every attempt to safely provide a world-class experience. Still, though unlikely, events can occur that are beyond our control.  You can download our standard liability release form here (click here for PDF ).  Each trip participant must sign this form before the trip begins.

Your Responsibilities:

In order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants on the trip, you are responsible for the following: carefully reviewing all trip information provided, understanding the possible risks of the trip, respecting the customs of the countries visited, avoiding breaking laws of the countries visited, following environmental guidelines and regulations as directed by the Captain and/or Crew, and respecting the rights and privacy of other trip participants.
